We have contracted a block of rooms with special pricing at the Cambria Hotel which is a 15-min walk or a bus ride (C2 bus) from the meeting venue.
To access the special price ($131/night), please choose the dates of the workshop and you will have the option to book your hotel room under the “SPHERE workshop” tab. This price will be available until June 5.
Airport location / directions to College Park, MD
College Park is served by three major airports: Baltimore/Washington International (BWI) (23 miles), Reagan Washington National (DCA) (16 miles), and Washington Dulles International (IAD) (35 miles) airports. There are a number of ground transportation options to College Park, depending on which airport you use. Rental cars are also available from all three airports; parking information at the University is here.
- Metro: College Park-U of Md station on the Green Line is only 1 mile from campus and is easily accessible from Metro stations at DCA and IAD airports with a one-way fare of only $3.85.
- Shared shuttle: Super Shuttle – cost is about $200
- Uber, Lyft, taxi rides: depends on distance, typically $60-$100 to/from DCA or BWI, and $120-$160 to/from IAD
